NorthCentral Illinois | Have a 4640 that is causing issues with my 1770 that is using SeedStar XP. When I started planting with it wouldn’t plant or record planting if I didn’t turn off swath control. AMS guy came out and updated planter software thinking that might have been the problem. In the mean time I used my 2630 to plant with till I got into a new field so wouldn’t loss my coverage map.
So after getting software updated and waiting for fields to dry got to try 4640 again. The planter would plant but wouldn’t paint a coverage map. Also wouldn’t show population as the red bars wouldn’t move up and show population as it was planting. So back to using 2630 again till get this 4640 figured out. AMS put a detac case in but Deere had no answers for my problem. He suggested unhooking rate controller for starter fertilizer but wiring is buried so haven’t tried that. Anyone else have similar problems and a fix other than a different monitor. | |
