Subject: Trimble 750 running Variable rate on JD7200 and row control

I have a new used planter set up and I need help!

Went to test in the field yesterday and could not get variable rate drive to engage!

Questions got anyone familiar with 750’s

Back ground info, I have run two Trimble 500 with Ez-Steer in the past. The 750 came with the planter, but interestingly enough the previous planter owner controlled the planter with an ag leader system, the planter is cabled for both… I have lights on The field IQ and i think it is recognized in the monitor.

Questions,

I tried the hydraulics bot hways in the third outlet of my 4840. and I have the drive SCV engaged.
I put the planer down in the field and drove and got nothing. I switched between manual and auto on the IQ switch box…nothing

Do i have to start a new field and have the mapping all set up for it to work?
Is the a test mode setting, I can try?

Any help or directions will be appreciated..
Thanks Brad
