nw NC | In 2017 my area was about 98% coverage of the sun. It will be less this time . My daughters brought their children to the farm so the kids could safely see the sun being eclipsed using my welding helmets. Afterward we had refreshments. Picture below.
In our newspaper a few days ago there was article telling of some companies such as Sunkist and the maker of Moonpies had some promotions on for the eclipse.
