Subject: Couple of plane pics

Freeburg, IL
The only thing different about these plane pics than any others is that we kinda thought we might see some F16s. This corn is about 7 miles from Scott Air Force Base and ususally you can't find a pilot to spray in St. Clair County. Disease pressure wasn't bad yet, but with lots of moisture, now some good heat (around 90 +/-) and foggy mornings, the decision was made to spray this corn. There was Wyffels 8361, DK 61-69 and DK 63-42 that got sprayed. There would have been some better candidate fields & hybrids, but they were either in the "no fly zone" or had a combination of high tension lines and trees. GLS is really coming heavy on the April and May planted corn locally. It is a great year to see what hybrids stand up to GLS!
