Subject: Anyone use JD exact Shot for starter fertilizer?

John Deere video claims you are wasting 60% of your starter fertilizer if you so not use their pulsing device on your planter. Also they refer to this is Their Robot planter. Also is most starter going on as side by side or sprayed on top of the seed? I tried to look at Beck's plot data but it does not have any pulsing trials on it. The published starter trials varied in results.
Also in the new John Deere Exact Shot patent they want to put a camera under the row unit to verify placement. They also talk about other means of radiation. microwaves, infrared, I thought the best radiation source might be to use radioactive seed or chemical. No chance in that ?
