Eastern NE | From about 2012 through 2018, Case IH and New Holland used Iveco engines in their tractors. Some of those engines have had the o-rings on the piston sleeves fail and leaked coolant into the engine oil. There have been discussions on here regarding this issue but they seem hard to search for. If you have had this happen or are familiar with the issue, I am interested in knowing how many hours were on the engine when it occurred. I have been told by a dealer that it is very unlikely that it would happen if the engine has over 3500 hours and no problems thus far. Please share any knowledge on this problem. | |
