NE KS | I recently contacted a seller on the classifieds about purchasing an item. He sent me more pictures at my request and I told him I would take it. When we settled on paypal for payment but he wanted me to send it as friends and family, basically I'm not protected. I offered to pay the extra paypal fees and send the money the correct way but he declined. The item is decently priced but when I called the seller did not answer my call although he did answer my text.
My question is who would purchase the way he wants and who wouldn't? Am I still protected if I send money to friends and family but use my credit card? Its sad the would we live in, its hard to trust a complete stranger.
BTW the item is over $5,000. | |
