Subject: Chemical loft joist size

SE NE

I'm looking to build a loft over my nurse area to store 2-3 totes and gravity feed them to an inductor.  Loft will be 8' x 16', in the corner of the building.  I need some help to figure out what size joist I will need, would rather overbuild than risk failure.  Will have the columns spaced at 8 feet, using the 4 from the building structure and setting two more to complete the rectangle. I was planning a 2x12 along the long edge attached the building and then 2 - 2x12's on the opposite edge.  Then 2x10's spaced 16" for the joists.  Something like this is what I had in mind, strong enough or do I need more?
