Yes, I know . . . this ain't exactly machinery, but . . .

Anybody use these? I've been using one for a year now and find it really helpful for navigation. It's much better than my old brain and a road atlas. The female voice (Jill) is pretty sweet too. I'm currently developing custom points of interest for use with my Garmin 2720.

Anything those of you who use these would like to see in terms POI locators? For instance, I'm in the process of doing a file for O'Charley's Restaurants. I really like them. I've got it about half processed. I'm also doing one for my denomination, Church if the Brethren.

What these POI files do is add custom addresses to the Street Pilot's database. If I'm on a trip and want to find an O'Charley's or a Church of the Brethren, all I have to do is tell Jill to find the closest one of whichever one I'm looking for, tell her to go to it and I'm there simple as pie.
