Subject: Bolt vs Ready Rod

I need several (4) 1"x18" long bolts to hold some weighs in place on a supercoulter frame I have located the bolts however they are over 20.00 each (for grade 2 30+ for grade 5)by the time I pay freight would ready rod work instead I would weld the one nut on and just tighten the other end all they do is hold the weights in place (1000 lbs) and they sit on the frame so the only time they do anything other and just hold it in place is when you fold the thing up then the weights are kinda hanging from the bolts there will be 2 bolts per weigh set kinda think I will just go with the ready rod??
