Has anyone else running a 1250 planter had trouble with the top hook of the tractor quick hitch hitting the planter tongue while going through a ditch or kinking hoses while turning? The tractor is a MX 220 with the factory quick hitch on it. I'll try and take some pics to show the extent of the problem.
Short of cutting the top hook off the hitch (not an option), what else has anyone done to re-route hoses etc. to solve this issue? Most times I can raise the three-point while going through a ditch to prevent it from hitting, but this planter has only done 200 acres and some of the hoses are starting to wear through from rubbing while turning around. | |
