AB. | Weighed everything. My best producer was an6 yo cow that weaned off 64.5% of her body weight Steer calf born near the front of the calving cycle on March 8 which had access to creep oats Cow weighed 1160 and her calf weighed 748. Largest calf was 871 smallest was 409
First time weighing everything, sure opens your eyes in a hurry to see who your best and worst producers are. Had some heifers with their first calf rank very high on the % scale with no creep feed to boot. Lots of information to digest. | |
