I ask her what was the biggest invention in her lifetime that changed peoples lives. Her answer was electricity in rural America.
I said that the Internet was probably what I would answer for someone my age.
A close second would be pop tops on beer cans...no more openers needed, or using your teeth or the car door on the bottles. (grin)(just kidding).
