Subject: Anyone using a rolling basket to seed cover crops?

Looking to try a friends J&M serrated rolling basket this fall to help get covers in contact with the soil. Its a double basket. I have spread cereal rye and had very good luck with it, just want to see about some different mixes ahead of corn. Have used my drill for that and it works great, problem is its 15' and being a one man show, hard to get harvest done and seed covers. This basket is 26' so it would work with my disc when the need arises also. Have a 3pt seeder that I could use ahead of the basket. This would be most likely in soybean stubble and would try to do it right behind combine before it rains. Thanks.
