Subject: Farming Alone

I know there is several AgTalkers here that farm alone. I'm looking for advice on the best practices on doing this efficiently. I know this has been discussed before but looking to see what new members or maybe a new idea can be brought to the table. I am extremely spread out over about a 15 mile circle from "central area". Walking would not be really convenient but can be done for a few farms.

My grandpa around to help with a few field operations and helping move myself. But he is in good health and has his own schedule around other things. (Has not farmed at all besides helping me out, which I am thankful for) My other half works a odd schedule and keeps my daughter while I am out farming so she is generally not open to chasing me around for several hours.

I know several use dirt bikes or four wheelers. But is there a another good option that is [b]reasonably[/b/ priced?

Or does anyone have tips for those jobs that most use two people for?
