Subject: 1460 splitting beans?

tennessee
Combining beans (just starting) and am splitting way to many beans. My tach is screwed up in the cab so I don't know exactly what my rotor speed is but I have run it through the entire range in high and still splitting. Have run concave from 1.5 to 4. What else could this be? Beans are running about 16% and I'm getting alot of rotor rumble also. Standard rotor with disrupters. Ran beans fine last year but all kinds of trouble this year. Question about the tach, I have no rotor or fan speed and the rpm's and mph are about triple what they really are--is it time for a new tach.? or something else? Thanks.
