Centralia, MO | I grew up on Excel but having switched to an iMac, I thought I would try to get by with the cheaper Apple package. In Excel there was a setting called "Accuracy as Displayed". This allowed you to round off a calculation to a certain number of decimal places and the that point further, Excel would drop the lengthy extra decimal places and do further calculations on that number based only on the rounded-off number. This was particularly handy in dollars and cents. Now does any know if Numbers has a similar function or setting. I am working with payroll data and I need it to drop those fractions of cents off. Sounds like I'm in the movie Office Space, huh. | |
