Leesburg, Ohio | OK strip-tillers, what do you think...I've been wanting to try some strips for two or three years and haven't gotten any equipment rented to try. Ran across a used kinze 12 row wing-fold planter (wings fold around 180* in front of the center section. like a deere 1760). I can buy it right, and am thinking about putting Pluribus units on it, so I can run in the spring if it stays too muddy this fall to do much tillage work. The planter frame and markers appear to be in good shape.
What issues can you see? Will this 7x7 planter frame handle the units OK? Thanks for your thoughts.
