West central Illinois | It’s straight up nasty out. Suppose to get 14 inches with 40mph winds. Weaned my calves Monday worked them Tuesday been bedding the heck out of them all week In a dirt/mud lot. 80 percent them are eating feed with meds in it. The other 20 percent have just been eating on corn start bedding. Those aren’t really sick yet but will be I assume by morning...I’m not a big fan of hoop barns and confinement sheds but it sure would be nice to have one to start calves in this kinda weather....iv got plenty of drugs to tomorrow morning..... just gona start sticking them come morning! | |
