some deep discounts on color cattle-ended up with 96 head-30 steers-knife cut-and 66 hf at 527#-$143
lot of farmers I talked to at the sale on the fence to buy feeders because of open lot condition's and having fats with no direction on value-and lot of calf sellers selling feeders getting ready for winter and lot condition's with some having corn to harvest yet.
The black cattle on the steers seem to be the top end of the price-most cattle were vaccinated and if it was off the cow no shots -the price was back $10-$15 with shots and just off the cow back $5-$10
weaned and vaccinated for 30-60 days were top dollar
Best advice to cowman-weaned and shots,knife cut and buyer demand is black-I did buy some reds that probably are just as good if not better then blacks-back about $5
