Subject: Grazing Corn Stalks

West Central Ohio
I’ve got 62 acres of corn stalks and 31 cows that I want to turn them out on it. How many wires should I run around the field? I was thinking of running 2 wires and chisel plowing directly around the fence to provide a visual barrier. Would one wire be enough or should I stay with 2 wires. I’ve always been told to have 1 acer per cow per month. Could I feed 10+lbs of barley brewers grain per head per day to extend the grazing for another few weeks?
Thanks!
