NC ND | So two old guys convinced me to do this 2 yd project with a mixer. Got an old PTO mixer, concerted it to skidsteer use. Now they are fighting about the proper mix. Have fairly clean sand here, really nice gravel with lot of 1" rock, pea rock, and 2 to 3" rock.
Pouring 10" piers 4' deep.
One guy wants sand and throw the large rock in as filler while pouring.
Other guy wants sand, gravel and maybe some larger rock.
From my little research I see nearly every recipe recommended. A 6 bag mix is called for I believe. | |
