Subject: Homemade beef Jerky

McLeod County, MN
Had the local butcher shop slice some beef jerky for me. I get my cure/spice from Thelin meats in Little Falls. I dump the cure in a bowl and then mix it with a can of coke. I add in some soy sauce, some Worcestershire sauce, some teriyaki, maybe a little garlic salt and some pepper. Mix it all up and then pour it on the meat in zip lock bags. To top it off I pour a little maple syrup in the bag. I marinade the jerky for 48 hours and then throw in dehydrator for about 5 hours.

It might honestly be the best jerky I have ever had. Wow is it good.
