SW, Missouri | I'll preface this by saying I have a dog and enjoy having him around but in no way shape or form would I consider taking him into a place of business. Yesterday afternoon I went to Bass Pro and Lowe's which are both pet friendly. I've seen several dogs in bass pro before but I didn't realize that Lowe's allowed them in. I understand service dogs and have no issue whatsoever with them being allowed in but other than that it seems to me that we've went a little far with allowing pets in stores. I assume the pet owner is responsible if someone gets bit or the animal makes a mess? I witnessed a dog with both front paws up on a counter while it's owner was checking out, then it starts barking non stop. Hope I don't sound like an old fuddy duddy LOL just curious what others think on this issue. | |
