Lapel, In | Thought #1.We have been promised the moon by the dems. A few hundred billion here , a few hundred billion there.Some more over there and over there too.
Now Obama steps up to the plate . Its his turn at bat. Looks a fastball right down the plate and decides not to swing. If it were W, the pressbox would have yelled you FOOL, why didn't you swing? You could have knocked it out of the park! The pressbox remains silent as Obama takes a called strike.Will it be the same with all those promised billions of bail out dollars when he is advised that we can no longer spend money like a drunken sailor? Or is he and his crew that ignorant on economic affairs ?Will the press hold Barry accountable like they would a conservative (hey, you promised ) or will they, indeed remain silent? Or will the press alone absolve our economic mess for us or at least try to sell us we are on a quick recovery.
Thought #2. Sounds like the depression/inflation question has persisted in my absense. Question : Can we have some of both at the same time? Can we see a splitting of the ways that money is prioratized and spent? Are we already seeing evidences of it ? Shane Jewelers file and restaurants are packed ? Will those businesses who experience depression actually be a positive to agriculture? Will it become a world of absolute needs that survive verses unnecessary wants that fall by the wayside? Will that be decided off our shores ? Typical for an early part of a depression ?
