Subject: Farmers market organic tomato issue

ECIL/WCIN
Our family is involved in two different farmers markets for the purpose of selling sweet corn. I'm not usually in attendance, but my wife is. She just gave me info yesterday that concerns me. Last week one gentleman was selling "organic" tomatoes. He was explaining to her how "organic" he was with his small backyard garden including his tomatoes. He then proceeded to tell her how much work it was to combat the bugs in his tomatoes...by spraying them with insecticide constantly! It doesn't directly affect me so I should just let it go. However, in a way it does, and I feel I should discuss the matter with the gentleman. I don't raise anything organic, and I don't have issues with those that do. I commend those folks for all the extra hard work that is involved. To me it is those exact folks who would benefit from me having a conversation with this gentleman. So, do I say something or let it go?
