Lancaster, OH | Went down to the Lancaster Festival (http://www.lancasterfestival.org/) tonight. This is the best 10 days to be in Fairfield County other than our fair. This was day two and really the kickoff with the art walk with two full blocks of people, music and food.
We wanted to hear the band that was playing, more out of curiosity than being a fan and were pleasantly pleased with the group, Spinning Jenny. It was an all girl rock band and they were really good. Their website is http://www.spinningjennyband.com/
Tomorrow night is a Tom Petty tribute band and the next Saturday is Martina McBride. The summer is so great for community activities.
Next thing you know, we'll be hearing the cicadas.
