Subject: Question for Knowledgeables.. NH TJ hydraulics ...

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust

The main  hose from  the hyd pump to the priority valve on my  05 TJ375  blew yesterday.  Part  315577A2. I have had the tractor from new.

It had been installed with  quite a sharp bend at one end, and of course that's where it failed  at 1200 hours.  The interesting thing is that the original hose had paint marks adjacent  to the fittings  which appear to have been put there as a measuring guide  for cutting to length.  That is highly unlikely  straight from the factory, so it would appear some sort of rework has been done.  Even so, you would  expect that a factory made hose would be used.

Anybody  able  to  shed some light on this...?  I'm just curious.
