Subject: Steiger ST450 3408cat?

I read the other day that ST 450 Steigers came with 3408 Cat engines as an option. I have never heard of that engine in a tractor before. Was curious how many were made, and if any other farm tractors had them. I know lots of the bigger 4x4 tractors had kta 1150s, but not 3408s. Just wondering is all. Thanks
