Subject: International 510 Seed Drill

Chilliwack, British Columbia
We are thinking about getting an old IH 510 drill, 10'. 7.5" spacing for planting our cover crops. so far, without seeing the drill, it seems cheaper to run our own than getting it custom done, which is what we have done for the last many years.

anything anyone can tell me about this machine? we may get it our for a demo on wednesday, not exactly sure what kind of shape it is in. this one does not have grass seed box, are they available to be put on from CNH or other?

we would plant about 40-70 acres per year of our own, plus any custom work we could pick up with it (the local guy seems to be wanting to slow down a bit)
thanks for any replies, glenn
