Subject: Harvest at a standstill in Minnesota/No. Iowa

We have received 7" of rain in the last 3 days, 80 miles west of Mpls. Much more in other locations. Most of the soybeans just getting dry enough to try, but now will have to wait days/weeks just to get firm footing. Majority of the drainge goes to Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. This could help on low water issues downstream. Minnesota River was out of the channel banks last week, now major flooding in low areas. Grain buyers may have to come up with another excuse for wide basis levels. No new crop will be crossing the scales for an extended time. We are 2 weeks behind a normal harvest schedule, soon to be 3-4 weeks. Wish we could share some of this water with others.
