Manitoba | we have a Hagie 2100. (dual 500 gallon tanks) fill with a 2" gas powered pump and it works fine but 1000 gallons takes a while to fill. normally I hear people switching to a 3"pump to speed filling but I'm questioning the effectiveness of going with a 3" pump to speed things up as all the sprayer plumbing after the hook up point is reduced even further than 2" after the hookup. was thinking if I modified the fill attachment into 2 so each one fills 1 tank and run with 2 separate 2" pumps that might be a better plan. but then I think I would have to add a 2nd port to the nurse tank, or just put a T in the 2" line to feed 2 pumps (not sure how that would work or if it would be same issue on suction end close to the nurse tank as the T currently after the pump filling the tanks) or maybe change the port from the nurse tank to a 3" and T that down to two 2" to feed each pump.
anyone tried anything like this to speed up the fill process on a sprayer like this? suggestion?
thanks for the advice. | |
