New London, Wisconsin | I am thankful for so many things about my life I and just wanted to say what a few of them are for this coming day of thanks.
I am thankful for:
Great family, parents ( now deceased ) who encouraged me in the pursuit of my dreams. More importantly, allowed me to try things and fail now and then as a kid to see what life is really like, helping me to learn how to be a good decision maker as an adult.
Great wife, 4 kids, 4 great son/daughter in-laws, and one grandson, all of whom make my life better than it ever could be without them.
Great harvest, a personal best ever.
Great friends who make the other things we do a whole lot more enjoyable.
Great mentors when I started out farming. ( My dad was not a farmer ) Without them I would have been another 1980's statistic.
Great neighbors
Great health
A chance to give something back now and then.
