Watkinsville, GA | Not many replies in machinery so was told to post here. Do to a pasture several miles away from our barn and also not wanting to run the tractor and wagon up and down the road. I built this feed trough out of a 1000gal LP tank. It 28ft long. Wheel axle and hitch is off of a wore out JD manure spreader. Added a hitch to my hay fork so I wouldn't always have to take it off to pull the feeder. Sometimes I load it with the loader and sometimes just run the wagon down the side of it. It can hold around 1400lbs of silage. 25-30 head can easily fit around it. Let me know what you think and please add any pics of your custom builds that may make your work a little easier. Thanks
