Subject: Shrink on Corn ?

Hey guys,

Going over some of my corn tickets.....hauling into local co-op and....

I bring in a load:

Gross weight 86620
Tare: 33240

Net: 53380

Total wet bushels 953.2143
Total net bushels 930.3372

Test weight 60.3 LOL :-) Anybody get a premium out there on this ?

moisture : 16.5 dock on moisture $ .04

Not really crying / griping....but is 23 bushels to shrink a little on the stiff side or about the norm ?

My math, I took 1.5% of the 953 wet bushels and came up with 14.3 bushels....would this be the correct way to figure ?
I also realize elevator must make money too, just wondering if the rest of you guys have similar results ?

Thanks

For those of you that say bins pay, I know, I know....they are in my hopefully close future plans.

Rog
