Subject: Hauling live poultry in milk crates

Columbia, MO
Yesterday I was driving northbound on Hwy 63 from Jefferson City MO to Columbia. I was tooling along at my usual 60 mph when I get passed by a white dually dodge pulling a gooseneck livestock trailer. When he gets by me, I see it is full of milk crates. I believe I saw inside those crates live chickens or turkeys. They were white, which I would think would be turkeys for this area. The trailer had an Iowa plate on it. Never have seen poultry hauled in milk crates before.

Wish I had taken a pic, but I was not prepared.
