NE ND | local 34 year old lost his life in a farm accident two days ago. They think he was making adjustments on header height control and head came down on him. His dad found him. Leaves a wife and child in second grade. I didn't know him but a friend of mine did. Said he was a real nice guy. The forecast was calling for rain here and everyone was working in hyper mode trying to get as much done as they could. Cant help but wonder if that all to often feeling of hurry, hurry, the rain is coming caused it. Just want to wish everyone a safe harvest and encourage everyone to slow down. That extra round made at the end of the day is not nearly as valuable as your life as a farmer, husband, father and friend.
