Subject: New crop rotation.

Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio
I have a bad deer overpopulation problem. They hurt beans way worse than corn, and even seem to help wheat tiller more. I am thinking of going to a rotation of corn, winter wheat, double crop beans, back to corn. Deer don't hurt double crop beans as bad. Less time to find the field maybe. Most years if I hurry I can get 115 day corn harvested by mid October. Most years I can plant wheat up till middle of November. I haven't actually done a full budget or profit analysis yet. Just keep thinking about growing more wheat without giving up much corn and beans. Any thoughts appreciated.
