Bon Homme County, South Dakota | we put up a 20x100 shade that is around 15 feet in the air in one yard this year. We also have sprinkler systems in all the cattle yards. The shade was just an experiment this year and so far it seems like the yard we put it in the cattle could care less about the water system. Also, it seems the cattle don't make as many trips to the water tank now. Has anybody else seen the same kinds of results? I do feel like the cattle don't look as hot and stressed under the shade, but just wondering about everybody else's opinions.
