East Central SD | Need some help on timing of scab control on winter wheat. Just started heading a couple of days ago with a few heads still in the boot. When you look across the field can still see a lot of leaves and heads haven't extended much. The agronomist for the application company (who has looked at the field) thinks it is time to spray. The BASF rep (who has not seen the field) thinks I am too early.
Appreciate any help.
