central pa | Was moving a split wire the other day. Cows were all laying down and chewing cuds but when they saw me start to roll up that wire they came running. This was about day 30 of they grazing season for the year. Pretty good for central PA. Last year I didn't start grazing until middle of May. I use a system similar to what Jim described. I have a central water, mineral station to serve over half my pasture acres. The grass in this picture was pretty nice. Grazed 33 pairs for 3 and a half days on just shy of 3 acres. Threw on two pictures of the new bull.
