Subject: Are iPhone pictures Geo Referenced?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Wednesday I took a picture of an unusual situation in my corn field (Frost damage on some plants but not others). I would like to go back to the same spot and check on the progress and also dig up the "good" plants to check on their seed coating color. The seed coating color will help me decide if the "good" plants were from the refuge seed in the RIB variety that I planted there.

I took the picture with my iPhone 6. When I look at the picture it indicates the township correctly but I was hoping that there was a lat/lon associated with the picture so I could return to that spot. I guess I could have gone in to MAPS and dropped a pin but I didn't think of that at the time.
