Warren County, Mo | I had a custom baler give me a call today about baling some of my grass hay. Quoted me 22 per bale (5x6). I figure those have to be some where around 1100 per give or take. I'd love to see close to 4 tons per acre but I'm sure I won't get that high. He also quoted 2.50 a square if I wanted square bales......which I would prefer.... I'm thinking the small plot (10 acres) should produce around 40 or so bales an acre that still comes out over a hundred an acre which to me is way too expensive.....
Thoughts?
