no welfare payments on this farm!!!!!!!! | I have ground that has never seen soybeans and after ten plus years of COC i think i might rent it out to a bean grower. my question is when planting covercrop this fall would it be a waiste of time to throw in 5 lbs of beans which are inocculated to get teh bacteria going in the soil assuming the covercrop can be planted by october 1st or maybe even september 15th? yes i am sure the beans will be innoculated next spring but like to do everything i can do to increase chances? dont know how much timeor anything about the bean to know to do the right thing? just curious? |
