New house has pond, worried about the kids

Subject: New house has pond, worried about the kids


Illinois		We are moving to a new house in a few days. The house is everything we've wanted, but it has a pond very close to the house, with a dock. We have 6 and 8 year old girls and a 2 year old son. I am really worried about our son and the pond. I plan to gate off the dock so it's not so inviting for him to walk onto, and we obviously plan to drill into them to not go near the pond. I can't stop thinking about what could happen. The family selling the house had 3 young kids and said they never had any issues at all. What would everyone suggest?
