Cullom, Illinois | I've been farming for almost thirty years in one capacity or another, so I have some experience. But the last few years it just seems like if your not done planting in the first four day dry warm weather pattern, your going to spend another three weeks trying to get finished. Used to go to the Indy 500 every year because we were done planting and had everything "laid by" the first time by then. Granted we farmed less but we only had eight row equipment. Now we're lucky to get done with beans by then. I was laughing about this with my buddy today and thought I'd see what everyone else's experience is. And for the record, I do my own spraying, fertilizing, and planting. No custom. | |
