SE Michigan | Picked up daughters dairy feeder calves last week. This is the first time that we've been able to have them at our house since she's been able to show. Grandma liked having them at her house but I feel it's important to have Aubree working with them and feeding them everyday. Both were born fed 9th and will go to fair the last week of July. Shooting for around 550# at that time. Can be anywhere from 300-600 pounds to show. Last year the calf weighed right at 600! Don't want to cut it that close again. We will sell the calf we don't end up taking to fair at same time to a local farmer who will feed it out.
