SE SD | I am used to running payloaders at my summer job that all have a rest for your hand to set on. After running my McCormick with factory joystick awhile I found my hand always ending resting on the hydraulic levers. I made this rest out of a piece of hardwood, some plastic pipe to slip over the first and second hydraulic levers. The pipe has some foam inside to take some slop out because the knob on top is larger than the lever. The rear support sets on a piece of Velcro. If you need to have all valves you just pull it off and set behind the seat. Otherwise if you're doing mostly loader work you can leave it on and still operate number three. I covered it with some Naugahyde I had on the shop and painted it black. I have used it for awhile and you have much better control to make smooth movements instead of your arm up in the air jerking the loader around if hit a bump or something. It would work in the MX caseih series too. Works pretty slick. I also beefed up the plastic handle that broke awhile back. Dealer wanted $250 for the top handle. I heated up a piece of plastic electrical conduit with the torch after gluing it back together. I slipped it over the bottom of the handle when warm and it formed to the shape I needed. I pulled it back off I put glue inside it and slipped it back together. Done. Now it has a gusset to make it stronger.
