Subject: South Africa corn imprts

Nebraska aka the boondocks
So as many know South Africa has a major drought and typically export some corn. Recently this last week, and you can google and find many articles, they, that is South Africa, are planning on importing 5 mmtonnes of corn. Yet at this point usda will only acknowledge or predict 1.5 mmtonnes. So usda knows more about South African corn than the South Africans?? If you take that discrepancy and remove from our carry what would happen to the market? Perhaps the magic bushels is a worldwide phenomena.
