I sold some hard red winter wheat this summer at harvest @ +$0.25 (yes positive) a bushel located in Kansas. Currently the same elevator (a terminal) is bidding -$0.30 (negative) so a difference of $0.55. Is this typical or this the case of "I have your wheat and you can't get it back"?
Basis -Better at harvest than during the winter???
